First-round interview
Prep for the screening call.
The high-level things you’d talk through in a first-round or recruiter screen — the concepts, definitions, and talking points, without the deep code dives.
Planner · interview prep
Tell the planner your goal — like acing a technical round on React — and it builds an ordered path from real SkillRecall lessons. No busywork, no made-up content: just the right lessons, in the right order, that you can work through and track.
Pick how you want to approach it. Three modes are built for interviews — the other two are for getting up to speed. Each shapes both which lessons you get and how deep they go.

Go deep for the technical round.
Depth and hands-on recall — the deeper, code-level material a technical round digs into, ordered foundational → advanced as a path you can work through.
Already know it? Prove it.
Skip the teaching and jump straight to the hardest quizzes and code challenges — a fast way to find the gaps before an interview does.
New topic? Get the lay of the land.
A broad tour of a topic — the key ideas and how they fit together, no deep dives. Ideal when everything is new.
Learn a topic end to end.
A balanced path from the foundations through to the deeper material, in a sensible order — the default when you just want to understand something properly.
Paste a job description and get an interview-prep plan mapped to the exact skills the role asks for — grouped by skill and built from real lessons, just like every other plan.
Choose how to start
Pick one of five modes — First-round, Technical, Challenge me, Big picture, or Learn it — the topic you’re prepping, and your experience level, from Junior to Principal+.
Get an ordered path
AI assembles a step-by-step path from real, published SkillRecall lessons — matched and ordered for your goal, and pitched at the level you picked. It never invents content: every step is a lesson that exists.
Work through it
Move lesson by lesson — flashcards, quizzes, code challenges, visuals, audio. We track your progress and pick up right where you left off.
Built from real lessons only — the AI selects and orders existing SkillRecall content, it never invents it. Anything not covered yet is flagged, generated, and added to your plan automatically, and we email you when it's ready.
It turns a goal — like prepping for a technical interview on React — into an ordered learning path built from real SkillRecall lessons. You pick a mode and a topic, and AI selects and orders the right lessons into a plan you can work through and track.
Yes — it’s built for it. Three of the five modes are interview-specific: First-round interview (screening talking points), Technical interview (deeper, code-level recall), and Challenge me (the hardest quizzes only). Each shapes both which lessons you get and how deep they go.
Yes. You pick your level — Junior, Mid-level, Senior, or Principal+ — and it tunes the whole plan: foundations first when you’re starting out, deeper trade-offs and harder recall as you go up. (Big picture is the one mode that stays a broad overview for everyone.)
Coming soon. You’ll be able to paste a job description and get an interview-prep plan mapped to the exact skills the role asks for — grouped by skill and built from real lessons, just like the rest of the planner.
No. The AI is a router, not an author: it only ever selects from real, published lessons in the library and orders them. If something isn’t covered yet, it’s flagged as a gap and we generate it — your plan fills in over time and we email you when it’s ready.
